Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Homeschool Hour Tracker app ("the App"), operated by Copper Top Electric, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, doing business as "Homeschool Hour Tracker" ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Your access

The base App is offered as a one-time purchase that provides access to the App's core features for your personal, non-commercial homeschool record-keeping. You are responsible for keeping your account email and any backup files secure.

Add-ons

Optional add-ons may be purchased separately from the base App:

Plus is a recurring monthly subscription that provides additional photo storage allowance. It renews automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Settings via "Manage Plus subscription" — canceling stops future renewals and reverts your account to the free storage limit going forward, but does not delete, hide, or otherwise affect any photos you've already uploaded.

Planner is a separate one-time purchase that unlocks scheduling features. Like the base App, it is a lifetime purchase for the account that buys it, not a subscription.

Add-ons are independent of each other and of the base App — you may own any combination of them, and canceling or not purchasing one does not affect the others.

Record-keeping tool, not compliance or legal advice

The App is a tool to help you track and organize homeschool hours, attendance, grades, and related records. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with any state's homeschool laws or requirements. Homeschool laws vary and change. You are solely responsible for understanding and meeting the legal requirements that apply to you, and for the accuracy of the information you enter. State references and hour targets in the App are provided for convenience only and may not reflect current law.

Your responsibility for your data

You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your own backups. We provide an export feature for this purpose. While we sync your records to help prevent loss, we are not responsible for any loss of data.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, reselling access, or using it in violation of applicable law.

Warranty disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that records will always be available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied, contact us at brit021@icloud.com and we will consider refund requests in good faith.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the App will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
