Homeschool Hour Tracker ("the App") is operated by Copper Top Electric, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, doing business as "Homeschool Hour Tracker" ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you purchase access, we collect the email address associated with your account so we can save your records to your account and let you restore access on a new device.

Homeschool records you enter. The App stores the information you choose to enter, which may include the first names (or nicknames) you give your children, subjects, logged hours, attendance, book/reading lists, assignment/quiz/test scores, grades, and course records. You control this information and decide what to enter.

Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are entered directly with Stripe and are handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Information about children

The App is intended for use by a parent, guardian, or educator. Any information about a child is entered by that adult about their own student for personal record-keeping. The App is not directed to children and is not intended to be used by children to create accounts or submit information about themselves.

How we use information

We use your information only to provide the App: to save and sync your records, maintain your account and access, process your purchase, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where your data is stored

Your records are stored on servers provided by our hosting and database provider (Netlify) in the United States. Your records are also cached on your own device so the App works offline. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Your choices and data deletion

You can export a full copy of your data at any time from the Settings screen. You can also clear data on your device. To request deletion of the records associated with your account, email us at brit021@icloud.com from the email address on your account and we will delete them within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, basic purchase records for tax or accounting purposes).

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
